Sure, onesies and bottle warmers are fun to open, but what about your needs? You just grew a human, and your body (and mind) deserve some serious love. Let’s talk about items you can add to your baby registry that focus on your health and recovery.

House cleaning services | Laundry? Dishes? Vacuuming? Let someone else handle the mess. A few weeks (or months!) of cleaning support can allow your body to recover.

Meal train or meal prep delivery | There are so many tasks that have to be accomplished with a new baby, the last thing you want to do is plan and make meals for yourself and your family. Friends can sign up to bring nourishing snacks and meals, or you can have someone arrange for healthy meal delivery.

Doula support | Birth and postpartum doulas are emotional anchors, knowledgeable guides and advocates for you and your baby. They help you feel supported every step of the way and give you the chance to take a shower and nap without worrying.

Massage therapy | Postpartum massage can ease tension, improve circulation and give you a blissful hour of “me time.” Your back, neck and shoulders will thank you.

Pelvic floor physical therapy | Leak-free sneezes, better core strength and pain-

free intimacy? Yes, please. A pelvic floor PT can help your body recover and thrive after birth.

So go ahead and put yourself on your baby registry. Because a healthy, happy mom means a healthy, happy baby.
