For moms, the back-to-school season is less crisp autumn air and more tornado of forgotten permission slips and questionable lunchbox smells. Finding time for exercise? That’s usually filed under things I’ll do when I have a unicorn as a personal trainer. But hear me out: try some exercise “snacks”. These are tiny bursts of movement sprinkled throughout your day.


Think of it like micro-dosing wellness. Got two minutes while the kids argue over who gets the cool toy car (the same one they have three of)? Bang out some squats. While waiting for the school bus, try a few jumping jacks. Even a quick plank during a commercial break counts.


The beauty of these snacks is they require zero activewear changes. They break up the endless sitting, boost your circulation and loosen up tight joints. Research shows these mini-bursts genuinely improve energy and health.
