Creating the space where everyone wants to be

We all remember that house from our childhood — the one that felt like home, even if it wasn’t ours. Maybe it was the one with the snack drawer stocked with all your favorites, or the house with an open invite for dinner and sleepovers.

Now that we’re preparing to pack lunches, sign permission slips and race to soccer practice again, we’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to have that house today.

Your home is the anchor With three new kindergartners between us from 2024-26, we’re officially in our “school mom” eras. And we’re more committed than ever to being the gathering place for friends and family. When we bought our homes, the vision was to create warm and easy-going spaces where everyone wants to be. It’s not about square footage — it’s about the feeling you get when you walk in. And the functionality that makes it all come to life.

What does that look like for you?

Where do you picture your kids and their friends gathering after school? Whether it’s a bonus room stocked with games, a beautiful backyard oasis or an oversized kitchen island filled with laughter, we all gravitate toward spaces that feel relaxed and welcoming.

What kind of space do you look forward to coming home to? You deserve a soft place to land after morning drop-offs and afternoon sports pick-ups. Think about adding a coffee bar, or grab some new throw pillows and a cozy blanket.

How can your home reflect the rhythms and values of your family?

The home that worked in the baby years may need a refresh as friends and sports become their priority. Plan a weekend to donate old books and toys, add organizational bins to declutter your living spaces and consider rearranging furniture to help your home evolve with your family.

Maybe you’re already in your “forever home,” and we LOVE that for you! If you ever need recommendations for local landscapers, contractors, roofers, etc., we’re happy to share the ones we trust.

But it’s absolutely okay if you’re not there yet. Visions evolve, and so can your home. As local Realtors + fellow moms, we know how your home can shape your life. If you’re dreaming about more space, a better layout or a neighborhood that makes school drop-offs a breeze, we’d love to help you!
