Navigating a real estate transaction
From “Where do I start?” to “Welcome home,” the right team can make all the difference.

Buying, selling or investing in real estate is exciting, but knowing where to start can make the journey much easier.
Start with a lender
Before beginning your home search, talk with a trusted lender to understand your buying power, estimated monthly payment and how taxes, interest rates, debt and your down payment affect afford-
ability. Even if you’re not ready today, a lender can help you create a plan for the future.
Choose an agent you trust
Your real estate agent will help you balance your must-haves, wish list
and budget while exploring homes and locations that may offer the best fit. Once you find the one, your agent will review comparable sales, discuss strategy, prepare your offer and negotiate on your behalf.
You’re under contract — now what?
This is where your agent helps keep everything on track. Depending on the property, you'll navigate inspections, possible repairs or negotiations, an appraisal, title work and important deadlines leading up to closing.
Almost home
Once contingencies are complete, your lender, agent and title company work together to get you to the closing table. Documents are signed, funds are transferred and the sale is recorded.
Then comes everyone’s favorite part — getting the keys! It’s always exciting, even if it’s not your first time. A good real estate agent will follow-up with you and be available to answer any questions you may have that came up after moving in.
