Design a home that feels like you.

When you walk into someone’s home, you can feel when a space truly reflects the people who live there. But how do you find your own style? The answer might be one style — or five. Sometimes you might be drawn to a farmhouse vibe…and then also mid-century modern. Perhaps you like vibrant colors as well as tone-on-tone neutrals. Most people aren’t just one thing, and your home doesn’t have to be either.
Finding your style is really about finding your priorities. Do you want spaces that are low-maintenance for your busy family? Do you love bold choices, or do you find peace in symmetry and softness? Start by noticing what feels good and makes you exhale when you walk into a room.
Our team is skilled in helping you find your unique style. Here’s how a few of our recent remodels helped real, local families.

Transitional with a hint of farmhouse | Clean lines meet cozy character.
For this family, clean lines and fresh finishes are balanced with warmth and charm. The result is a transitional design with soft farmhouse touches: natural wood tones, shaker-style cabinetry and a hardworking pantry that celebrates form and function. The spaces feel polished but never stiff — every detail, from the built-ins to the apron-front sink, was chosen to support both beauty and everyday life.

Traditional with purpose | Warm, timeless and elegant
In this Corvallis home, our clients were drawn to a traditional aesthetic — classic cabinetry, warm wood tones, and elegant finishes — but they wanted it to function for real life. We layered in practical features like ample island seating, a durable quartz countertop and cozy textures underfoot. The result is timeless and inviting, perfectly tailored to the way this family lives.

Clean, calm and modern | Sleek surfaces. Airy light. Minimal stress.
For this client, a modern aesthetic checked all the right boxes: clean lines, sleek finishes and open, airy spaces that let natural light take center stage. Warm wood cabinetry softens the sharpness of black fixtures and streamlined surfaces, while large windows and layered lighting create a bright, calm atmosphere throughout. Even with its bold simplicity, every element was chosen with purpose, from the
linear fireplace to the floating vanity.

PNW roots with a mid-century twist | Bridging past and present
This home holds a special place in our hearts because it’s one we helped build years ago as the original general contractor. Like many homes in the PNW, it was initially influenced by a Craftsman style. When the homeowners came back to us for a remodel, they were ready for something lighter and more modern, with a nod to mid-century design. We introduced clean-lined fixtures, floating shelves, a more neutral palette and subtle curves that echo the era without overwhelming the space.

A balanced blend | Craftsman charm meets Japanese mindfulness
In this project, the homeowners were drawn to the warmth and functionality of Craftsman design, the serenity and intention of Japanese aesthetics and the clean, livable lines of transitional style. Rich cherry cabinetry grounds the kitchen, while open shelving and curated decor are a nod to the simplicity and mindfulness of Japanese interiors. That same philosophy carried into the bathroom, where organic textures and flowing tile patterns paired with modern matte black fixtures create a tranquil, spa-like retreat.

Rylee Henderer | DESIGNER
Rylee Henderer grew up around construction job sites, sweeping up endless sawdust in the shop. She formally joined her family’s business in 2017 and learned everything from demolition and framing, to tile and cabinetry installation. From there, Rylee grew into client management, and along the way found a love for design. She is now a full-time designer, creating beautiful, innovative spaces for Henderer Design + Build + Remodel.
