From hot chicken to grits, the cuisine of the South is unique and delicious. We can enjoy it right here in the Pacific Northwest, with fresh and local ingredients from the Co-op.
Collard greens are not only a celebration of Southern cooking, they are packed with health benefits: their dark leafy greens are one of the best naturally available sources of folate, a vitamin that helps with development in pregnant women and young children. They also provide vitamin K, which is vital for healthy bones, along with dietary fiber that helps your body maintain digestive health.
