Our summer day camps are more than a fun way to keep your child active and engaged — they are built on decades of social science, child development research and best practices.

For instance, we integrate into our activities and curriculum what are known as the seven essential character skills of helping children thrive: self-confidence, empathy, self-control, integrity, curiosity, perseverance and optimism.

At KidSpirit summer camps, kids navigate through fun-filled days, being introduced to various new and exciting activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor sports and games, and thought-provoking classroom activities. These activities spark curiosity, build perseverance and help practice self-control.

Self-confidence rises as children work together, learn from challenges and succeed with each other. Being in a group setting and building friendships in an environment promoting teamwork helps youth build empathy. Our camp counselors model positive and thoughtful attitudes, showing that optimism and integrity matter.

At KidSpirit camps, children practice and learn these character skills, all while having a blast. It’s our mission to help them thrive, from summer camp and far into their bright futures.
