MOM's Summer refresher

Lavender lemonade

4 ounces lemonade

4 ounces club soda

Splashes of lavender syrup to taste

Lemon slices

Sprigs of lavender

In a glass of your choosing, add ice, then gently stir in the lemonade and club soda. Add splashes of lavender syrup to taste (if you’re looking for an Oregon-made one, try Portland Lavender Syrup). Add lemon slices and sprigs of lavender to garnish.

Deluxe Brewing

Noquila Sunrise

1/2 ounce agave syrup

12 ounces orange juice

1 to 2 tablespoons grenadine

Orange slice, cherry

Fill a tall highball glass or pint glass with ice. Pour in the agave syrup and orange juice; stir gently to combine. Create the sunrise by slowly pouring the grenadine down the side of the glass to make a beautiful red-to-orange gradient. Top with an orange slice and a cherry. Serve immediately with a straw, and stir right before sipping.

Sinister Distilling

Cran-raspberry Mockjito

1/2 ounce lime juice

A few fresh mint leaves

8 ounces of cran-raspberry juice

Splash of ginger beer

Add a few mint leaves and the lime juice into a sturdy glass. Gently crush the mint with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the oils, taking care not to shred the leaves completely.

Fill the glass generously with ice. Pour the cran-raspberry juice over the ice and stir well to combine. Top off the drink with ginger beer and give it a gentle stir. Garnish with a few extra mint sprigs.
