In the spirit of celebrating MOM Magazine’s 20th anniversary, we’re sharing our top 20 favorite city parks for kids. Put these on your list for free, outdoor summer fun!




EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD

  • Takena Park

  • Timber Linn Memorial Park Why MOMs love it: Lots of room to run and watch the ducks. Kids also love the cannon, which is an opportunity to learn about U.S. history and veterans’ service.

  • Avery Park Why MOMs love it: The iconic “dinosaur bones” plus a decommissioned train engine make this a popular park for families in Corvallis.
