I believe that my mom deserves this makeover because of the things she has been through. She was widdowed at 26 and left to care for two children by herself. In April of 2006 she was diagosed with a rare neurological disorder called Guillain-Barre. It is a disorder that causes nerve damage in the hands and feet, and working inwards . Since then, things havent been easy for our family. We have gone through nasty breakups, rough sickness, and episodes of her disorder. When she gets sick, it hits her and shes in bed. My brother and I are left to take care of the household and her, if she doesnt end up in the hospital. She has heart problems and if shes under to much stress she passes out. She is 34 and has already had two pacemakers. In January of 2009, my mom had a horrible headache. So bad that she had to go into a clinic and get a shot in her butt to make the pain go away. The nurse who gave the shot put it in the wrong place and now my mom has chronic pain that starts in her butt, and pulses down through her left leg. Because of this, my mom is unable to sit for long periods of time. As a result, my mom lost her job that supported my family. She deserves this makeover because she pushes through everyday like a champ. She takes the wins with the losses and doesnt complain. She takes the cards she is deal and makes the best hand. After everything we have been through, age hasnt really treated her well. I know that sounds bad but im just telling the truth. If anyone deserves this, its my mom. She is constantly there for me and my brother. She supports our family on an unemployment income. Im only 14 years old, a freshman in highschool, and between me and my 13 year old brother, we basically run the house when my mom is sick. My mom would greatly appriciate this makeover. She is an excellent candidate for this contest. Thanks for listening to her story.

I think my mom deserves this makeover for many reason. Her life has been no where close to perfect. She has to fight everyday just to be up and around with her two kids, and after being widdowed at age 26, things got even more difficult. You see 6 months before the loss of my dad and her loving husband, my mom was diagnosed with a neurological disease called Guillan-Barre. This disease causes nerve damage beginning in the hands and feet and works its way inwards. This has made it hard for her to move around or sit for long periods of time. And if that wasnt enough, in January of 2009 my mom wad given a shot that was misplaced and caused severe muscle damage. The muscle that was damaged happend to have the sciatic nerve which runs all the way up the back. The effects of this shot causes her constant pain and eventually the loss of her job. Having this disability has cause money to be very tight in our family since we are living off of unemployment and savings. My mom could really use abreak from her day to day life and relax. This makeover could give her a huge self-esteem boost and alot of self-confidence. This would deffinately make our family moral sky rocket. So not only does she feel better, this family that has gone through so much could be happier. This could really make a difference in all of our lives,so please consider. Thanks.
