We didn't tell the twins where or what we were doing we just told them they got to go on a special surprise date. When we got to the Toyota Center, the nice lady taking our tickets asked the girls if they were excited to see Elmo. The girls eyes got as big as their dinner plates!! They just couldn't contain there excitement and kept asking if they were really going to see Elmo. Lucky for us we didn't have to wait long for the show to start. Right from the beginning the girls were mesmorized by the show, there was lots of singing and dancing that included the audience. The characters that weren't on stage were hanging out in the audience, my girls were really excited when Cookie Monster came close to them. The story line of the show was easy to follow and had lots of positive things in it-like using good hygiene, eating good foods (as a mom that was my favorite message). My girls loved all the times they got to stand up and sing, I loved that I didn't have to kept telling them to sit down. We capped the night off with some yummy ice cream and everyone was beyond happy. This may go down as their favorite thing they did this summer!!

Claire has been a fan of iCarly since the beginning. I had planned to take her along with her amazingly supportive 12 year old sister. Again as with the Mom above I think it would be so surreal for her to see a girl in person, the way she sees her on TV. But please note: (a mothers disclaimer) in Claire's world no one is as fantastic as Claire:-)

He is crazy about Miranda Cosgrove on I-Carly and in her music videos on Nickelodeon. It would be an amazing thing to see her in person to help him make the connection between TV and reality and also be so much fun! Can we go?? Thank you MOM mag - I read every issue!
