Yurts do fill up quickly, but you can reserve 9 months in advance. If you are looking at next summer, calculate 9 months prior to when you want to go to make your reservations. Good luck! Going to Crater Lake has been on our bucket list for 2 years, and we still haven't made it. How far in advance did you have to reserve the yurt? I explored that earlier this summer but it seems like they book up FAST.

I started singing to him and he dropped to the ground and closed his eyes. I was absolutely sure that my singing soothed him to sleep. She was bred to work, but teaching our kids about responsibility and endless devotion is her biggest job! She helped raise 2 kids (ours) and 2 litters of 11 pups! One of those babies went on to be a Field Champion. Delivering and caring for those babies was a lot of work, but sooo much fun! Splash was always up for an adventure, she is the perfect companion for rambunctious kids! Our family learned a lot from Splash and her babies. She is pushing 13 now, but still as sweet, patient and happy as ever!
We would put our son into his bassinett and the cat would go under it and sleep or keep watch. He would stay there until the human was removed and no longer required the protective status of him. I am still not sure to this day if it was curiousity or protecting the baby but I do know when the baby went into that bassinett he was there. This same cat could sense when you were peeling potatos in the kitchen. He would be right there at your feet wanting some. I have a great picture of him stretching up to the counter trying to get one off the counter. I never claimed we had 'normal' pets but we have great pets. Our family loves to go and see animals!!
