Kids' Adventure Club, Spring
Family Day: Birds and
blooms
Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to noon
At the Adventure Center in Springfield
Travel Lane County invites kids and their families to
enjoy a morning filled with hands-on activities and learning
centered on the spring season in the Eugene, Cascades and Coast
region. The event is free.

Birding experts from the Lane County Audubon Society
and Willamalane Park and Recreation District will share
family-friendly presentations about birds and bird watching, from
identifying various species to finding them along local trails.
Territorial Seed Company will talk about how to grow vegetables and
flowers from seed and share tips that will get kids interested in
gardening. They will also lead kids in seed plantings.
Kids can participate in other hands-on crafts and
activities related to birds, flowers, plants and
spring events. Throughout the morning, prizes will be given away
and free juice, coffee and snacks will be served.

Travel Lane County hosts Kids'
Adventure Club Family Day events on a quarterly basis.
