My black Friday day was really crazy; After thanksgiving was over @ 3 am in the morning, We headed to Old navy @ Lloyd Center Mall, after that, around 5 am we were at target, the store was really full and we had to wait in line for a long time, and around 8 am we headed to Waltmart were most of the best deals were gone but we still find few things, after that we had to get breakfast until 11 am, and we spend the rest of the day @ Clackamas and finish the black Friday shopping around 5 pm we were really tired.

We headed to Sports Authority in the hopes of getting the free giftcard to the first 80 customers. We did. Oh the thrill of a free item. We then attempted Target...too busy. Coffee and Fred Meyer completed our little outing. Good deals and good company.

I wasn't going to go anywhere until my mom dragged me out to Michael's and Khols. It was worth the trip... she treated me to lots of goodies which included a Cricut cartridge and some new clothes. Gotta LOVE mom!

We all slept in! There are so few opportunities to be lazy in our PJ's for a whole morning. Loved every minute of it.

On Black Friday my husband and I went out bright and early. We hit stores for the good deals. We got a lot accomplished in a short amount of time spanning, Corvallis, Albany and Salem.

Black Friday was spent with my hubby fishing on the Willamette (something we do not normally do together). It was fun but VERY COLD! I did however manage to get my Mom to pick up a few things for us at Walmart and of course do a little online shopping after we got home. :)

Every year I hit the same stores, and I always start with a egg nog latte from Starbucks which is open at 4 am! The first store I raid is Fred Meyer. I did not anticipate finding much, but I ended up asking one of the managers to find me a cart because my hands were filled with great deals! Off to the heritage mall by six am and made my rounds in Target. I was done with Christmas shopping by nine am, and had breakfast with my family. It was amazing! Love shopping on Black Friday.

We headed to Eagle Crest for the weekend. What a great weekend it was. Wonderful way to spend a long weekend recovering from the huge feast my mother cooked on Thanksgiving. It was such a wonderful drive on Friday. No one was on the road. My guess is they were all out shopping! It was a great day to travel the Santiam Pass! Terrific family weekend and a great way to spend Black Friday....avoid the crowds! (I shopped on line early in the a.m.!) :)

I met and old friend for coffee and reminisced about how the past 16 years have flown past us! It was great to not be racing around the madhouse of stores on Black Friday for a change! =)

I escorted my little sister as she did some shopping. I was looking for a deal on a Wii - but didn't find a good deal anywhere.

On Black Friday, while everyone was out shopping in the stores, I was shopping online getting some FANTASTIC deals! I got a 150.00 bed in a bag set for 49.99, and many other super duper online deals. I will do that every year now :-)

I started my day at Old Navy at 4:30 a.m. Yikes! I then went to Walmart in Lebanon to get my beloved Cricut. I rounded out my morning with breakfast with friends a few more stops in Albany and Corvallis.

I was out of the house by 2:30am this year to hit Toys R Us! After that, we hit all the usual stores: Walmart, Target, Fred Meyer, Kohl's and then it was off to Valley River Center for more stores and lunch! Had a great time and didn't even spend as much money as I thought I would. :)

On Black Friday I got up while the kids and hubby (even the cat) were still sleeping and went shopping. I hit up Fred Meyer for video games and Macy's for a present for myself - an electric blanket. I've never had one and boy do I love it! I also picked up some toys for the kids and then grabbed some coffee on my way home and brought it my hubby in bed. As he was waking up I showed him all the great deals I got. Then I proceeded to have a great, relaxing day home with the family.

In the morning I slept in a little worked on our new house. We did go to Target that evening. It was still crowded but not as bad as 4 am I bet. I did the early morning shopping for the last 2 years and I was happy to not battle the crowds this year. Thank goodness for Amazon!

On good Friday I woke up in the state of Washington with all of my family we went there for Thanksgiving. About noon we left to drive back to Oregon. So basically I spent 6 hours with my children and my husband in the car laughing and singing from LaConner, Washing to Philomath, Oregon. I even cried a little when I dropped my daughter off in Philomath because I wanted to take her home with me. It was a GREAT day!

My favorite year was the time my friend and I and her sister hit the mall and stood in line at 5am for free gifts. I even won concert tickets! So fun. This year, my husband, daughter and I slept in and though we were not planning on spending any money, we found a great deal on a Washer and Dryer set at Home Depot.

I stayed at home with the kids and enjoyed Thanksgiving leftovers. I try to avoid the stores on Black Friday...just too crazy.

Unfortunately, I had to work. New job so no vacation until next year. Spent Thanksgiving with my husband and 2 girls. Had a great time.

Ran away from it all and played with Mickey and friends at Disneyland. Way better than fighting over socks. :)

On black friday I was over on the coast so the only real store that had any deals was Walmart in Newport. We were about a half hour away so we left around 6am - but by the time we got there, a lot of the good stuff was already gone. But it was still fun :)

Good luck moms! I was up and going at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. It's a tradition to beat the streets that day with my mom, sister and mother-in-law. We did get some great deals, but more importantly we had a great time together.

I missed shopping on black Friday altogether! I was in the 12 degree weather in knee deep snow hunting some very elusive elk in Eastern Oregon!

Oh, the dreaded black Friday. I met some of my best friends for our traditional annual breakfast at the ever so famous "Shirley May's". We meet our friends there every year on black Friday to talk about how were going to avoid the shopping crowd. This fight of the shopping wills usually quickly turns into a conversation of talking our hubby's into doing a quick walk through at the local Coastal Farms. With my two best horsey girlfriends and myself living so far from each other these days, we usually settle into our seats for some good coffee, breakfast and most importantly, talk time :-)
